All too often we see golf as a difficult sport which we must graft, grind and endure those difficult times that we all have. We stand on the driving range beating ball after ball ring to "Figure out" the unsolvable puzzle that is golf. Meanwhile, we forget the joy that started us on this path, the little wins that we had at the beginning as we discovered the game and every revelation sparked a new and exciting pathway to journey down.
Sound familiar??
But why? Its a game after all, its a sport and it should be fun! For 99% of golfers we don't have to make a living from it, the pressures are more self created, and for those who do have the opportunity to make a living from it, well you get to live out the dream that you probably had as a child!
So next time you are out on the course admire those little wins that are there every time you walk onto the first tee. A good shot, time with friends, or competing against the best players in the world. It really doesn't matter what it is that fills your cup, but I guarantee you being on that golf course is better than being stuck in an office for the day!!
